I told myself there was no reason to rush ... I had nothing else I HAD to accomplish! So, we left at 12:15 and walked back in the door at 5:30! It was not near the trouble I thought it would be, but I obviously took my sweet time too! We ate, went to Walmart, then Payless, then Bealls, then 4 Kids Only, then JCPenney! After that I even rounded up Jason's grandma's b-day gift (which took 3 stops).
The kids were very well behaved! Judson got three new Thomas trains, a new Thomas video, a bubble wand and a bubble machine, and a new plastic set of golf clubs since he was such a big boy and listened perfectly! And Jentry did well herself with some new bows, 3 new outfits, her jelly shoes, a Minnie Mouse video, and zebra sunglasses! Looking back, they both really made a haul! I am ready to try out the new bubble machine myself though! I did ok too though ... a new shirt from JCPenney and two Tarleton shirts from Barefoot Athletics while I was in there too.
Fun Day! Now, hopefully the sun is shining tomorrow so we can break out the bubble machine and wand!!!
The cute jelly shoes ...

Don't you feel like Wonder Woman?
ReplyDeleteWith each new baby, I was ready to attempt to do things on my own. Honestly, the age yours are at is much easier than when they range in ages from 14 to 6 and turn into smart alecks and bullies. Something happens to boys at about age 6-7 that makes them impossible to take out. Belching, farting, blurting out loud obnoxious noises...girls are bred to shop. Miss Madalyn and I have always had a blast together shopping. I ramble, sry!
I love the shoes!
ReplyDeleteWow... supermom! I have trouble just taking Will on a shopping trip! He's always into everything and won't stay with me enough for me to get anything done.
ReplyDeleteI lOVE the sunglasses. Maybe I can find some in my size :)
